The Best from Royal Ascot 2017

When it comes to racecourses around the world, Ascot is certainly one of the best. The exquisite grounds of Britain's premier racecourse plays host to an annual racing carnival aptly named Royal Ascot, which is attended by hundreds of thousands from around the UK.

The most notable attendees are of course, members of the Royal Family, including the Queen herself. Her Majesty is a regular racegoer, attending the Royal Ascot every year to enjoy the carnival, watch her horses race, and present awards to the winners. Some of her relatives were present this year, including Prince Charles and Camilla, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to name a few.

As well as some of the UK's most sylish, some of our favourite Australian ladies were out in force nailing the Royal Ascot dress code. A unique style of racewear, Ascot's dress standards are all about elegance and a touch of English tradition. In certian enclosures, the code calls for straps to be one inch or greater, and if jumpsuits are worn, to be ankle length.

For the gentlemen, it's quite a different ball game to Aussie racecourses. Men are required to wear Morning Dress, which means a waistcoat and tie, and best of all, a top hat. Take a minute to picture some of our favourite Australian men at the races in top hats and morning dress!

Check out some of our favourite style moments from this year's Royal Ascot.
