5 minutes with the winner - Lock Cup

It was a win for the locals at the 2018 Lock Cup with Kyancutta resident Demi O'Brien taking out the Fashions at The Races. With Australia's iconic outback as the backdrop, the ladies and gentlemen turning out for the competition certainly didn't disappoint.

With a show of colours and patterns, Demi was awarded Lock's winner in a simple and stylish race day look. We caught up with Demi to get to know her a little bit more...

To win Fashion at The Races I wore: A Lioness Dress, Tony Bianco shoes and Samantha Wills accessories.

I started coming to The Races when: My dad started having a few horses running over the last 5 years.

I couldn’t do a day trackside without: A pair of heels and highlighter!

The last time I entered Fashion at The Races: This was my first time.

My wardrobe looks like: Full but tidy, mostly...

The most embarrassing thing I’ve ever worn is: A few as a kid - I can't pick one!

My favourite thing I own is: My shoe collection and makeup.

What people might not know about me: I am a third year optomotery student.

Weekends look like: Study, netball and coffee.

I love to indulge in: Chips.

My kind of day out is: Dressing up and being with my friends.

My bucket list includes: Travelling around Europe.

I wish I could have a glass of bubbles with: Kylie Jenner.

This year I am looking forward to: Finishing another year of Uni.

I love The Races because: It's a great chance to dress up and have a day out!

Demi has qualified for the State Final for 2017/18. To see when you can next qualify for the Fashion at The Races State Final like Demi, see our full list of events here
