STREET STYLE LOOKS FROM THE CLARE EASTER RACES

South Australia’s most idyllic vine-clad destination is none other than the Clare Valley. April 20 beckoned locals and travelling track-lovers to the Hill Livestock Clare Easter Races, where the wine region’s most enticing attributes were thoroughly celebrated. Scenery, gourmet goods and many sip-worthy local wines were sampled between marquees and picnic baskets, while live entertainment and food vans kept the revelers rolling into the early evening.

The verdant hills descending upon the course made the Clare Valley Racing Club the perfect platform for our Fashion At The Races qualifying heat, hosted by the radiant Nadia Stamp of Married at First Sight’s fourth season. Nadia’s hosting look projected a tropical vibe in a floral jumpsuit with ruffled sleeve detail and a matching navy turban headband.

The spectacularly sunny day resounded a feminine feel around the track through baby pinks and delicate polka dots, damsel-like ruffles, voluminous shoulders and cinched silhouettes.

Others embraced their inner vixen in figure-skimming hounds-tooth, scarlet, emerald and clashing colour blocking. In millinery, woven boaters and panama hats competed with dainty floral headbands and bright oversized bows, presenting a full spectrum of racing fashion themes.

Our FATR Best Dressed Woman was Amber Edmonds-Wilson in a knee-length long-sleeved floral V-neck dress. Amber paired her ensemble with red heels and a pink, white and red clutch, finished with purple tassel earrings and a lilac turban headband, embodying an iconic country racing feel.
