The New Home Of Country Racing SA

Country Racing SA, representing the country and provincial race clubs across South Australia, has re-launched its social media channels to better promote the activities, people and events at the state’s 24 regional clubs.

As of Monday, September 13, racing fans can once again get the latest information on Country Racing in SA across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Those interested in following Country Racing SA can do so via the following handles:

Chris Biggs, CEO of Country Racing SA said the social channels will provide racing fans with greater access to a range of new and existing information.

“We're excited to launch dedicated social channels to showcase and celebrate South Australian country racing.

“As we head into spring, our clubs are a hive of activity and we hope the channels will help to attract more people to our great country racing events.” Biggs said.

The social channels have been re-launched as the vibrant spring racing period kicks off, with several country cups scheduled across September and October including the iconic Balaklava Cup on September 15, the sold out Mindarie-Halidon Cup September 19, Jamestown Cup on October 2, Murray Bridge Cup on October 15 and Gawler and Barossa Cup on October 22.

This week’s Balaklava Cup will also see a return of the popular Fashion at the Races competition which provides an opportunity for those with a keen eye on current trends to frock up and compete to be judged the best dressed at the races.
